I had to have a dictionary by my side at all times and, even if I got the hang of most words 'cause they were constantly repeated, for if I put the book down for a day or so I would go back to square one. Finally I had to rely on reading it out loud to make some sense out of some words, and though it worked most of the time, some terms were too archaic or too obscure for me.
